For which tasks (responsibilities)?
Create high-quality, visually appealing 2D icons for various in-game elements such as characters, items, abilities, and UI elements.
Collaborate with the game design and development teams to understand the visual requirements and constraints of the project.
Conceptualize and sketch initial design ideas for icons.
Create polished, final artwork using digital illustration software.
Ensure that all icons are consistent in style, scale, and color scheme.
Iterate on icon designs based on feedback from the team.
What kind of professional are we looking for?
Proven experience as a 2D artist or illustrator, preferably in the gaming industry.
Proficiency in digital illustration software such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, or similar tools.
Strong understanding of composition, color theory, and visual hierarchy.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Excellent communication skills and ability to incorporate feedback into designs.
Strong portfolio showcasing a range of 2D artwork, with a focus on icon design.
Knowledge of game development processes and platforms is a plus.
A passion for gaming and a keen eye for detail.
